American Flight 11 from Boston, Mass., crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center in Manhattan at 8:46 a.m. Sept. 11, 2001. The Remembrance ceremony was led by Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Foley, U.S. Army Signal Center and Fort Gordon commanding general.
