Army Wife Network comes to Fort Gordon
The Army Wife Network will present two conferences (Feb. 29, 5 to 9p.m. and March 1, 10 a.m. to 2p.m.) at the Gordon Conference and Catering Center.
Field Exercise™: Love Military Life is a grassroots seminar designed to empower military Families.
This event has been conducted at several installations including Fort Bliss, Texas, Fort Bragg, N. C., Fort Campbell, Ky., Fort Carson, Colo., Fort Hood, Texas, and Fort Stewart, Ga. Each four-hour event provides military life survival tips, practical military family resources, networking opportunities, complimentary taco bar and dessert, stuffed resource bags, and giveaways.
The event is free and open to valid military ID card holders. Come share your experiences and exchange ideas in a fun and inviting atmosphere. Enjoy an event created just for you.
Registration begins Feb. 6 for the event. All interested parties must pre-register online at www.armywifenetwork.com. Click EVENTS, click REGISTER for Field Exercise™, and select the event time to register (a.m. or p.m. session).
Childcare costs will be paid by Army Community Service. Children must be registered with and use Child, Youth and School Age Services. The point of contact for childcare registration and reservation is Melissa Drinnen and Angela Davis at 791-7270 or 791-3993. Reservations for childcare must be made by Feb. 14. Childcare will be provided at the Child Development Center West located on 19th Street.
