New Fort Gordon Commanding General announced

63rd Soldiers The Department of the Army has announced that Brigadier General Alan R. Lynn will become the Commanding General, U.S. Army Signal Center of Excellence and Fort Gordon replacing Brigadier General Jeffrey W. Foley at change of command ceremony to be held at Fort Gordon on July 21, 2010.

Brigadier General Lynn is currently the Commander, 311th Signal Command, Fort Shafter, Hawaii. With assumption of command, he becomes the Army’s 35th Chief of Signal during this, the 150th anniversary year of the Signal Corps.

Brigadier General Foley has been the installation’s commanding general
