Tax Center still working hard

Gina Bahr, wife of retired Air Force Tech. Sgt. Richard Bahr, answers a few
questions regarding deductable expenses as Staff Sgt. Dennis Cauch, an IRS
trained volunteer tax preparer at the Fort Gordon Tax Center, prepares the Bahr’s
2009 Taxes at no charge. The Fort Gordon Tax Center, located at the Courtyard,
Bldg. 36708, is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Saturday. Tax payers are urged to bring receipts for new vehicle purchases made
in 2009; the sales tax can be a deduction. For more information call 787-1040
during the tax center’s normal hours of operation.
