Welcome Home

202nd MI returns

A welcome home ceremony for more than 120 Soldiers of the 202nd Military Intelligence Battalion was held March 9 around 1 a.m. upon the Soldiers’ return from a six month deployment. Since 2001, Task Force Deuce has been deployed twice to Iraq and three times to Afghanistan. On this mission, Task Force Deuce set up the first Joint Interrogation Debriefing Center to provide interrogation and debriefing to U.S. and Coalition forces in Afghanistan. The Soldiers have been spending the week getting back into the routine, fulfilling the reintegration plan and spending time with their families.
