Pheasant Hunt
An adult pheasant hunt is being sponsored by the Fort Gordon Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation March 13 at Training Area 23. It kicks off at 8 a.m. Cost is $60 for Tactical Advantage Sportsman’s Complex members; $120 for non-members. Preregistration is required. For more information call 791-5078.
Golf Clinic
The Walton Foundation for Independence is hosting an adaptive golf clinic 10 a.m.-noon March 9 at The First Tee of Augusta, located at 3165 Damascus Road. The clinic is scheduled to meet every second Tuesday of the month and will provide people age 15 and older who have acquired disabilities (brain injuries, stroke, spinal cord injury, amputation and blindness) with the opportunity to play golf using adaptive equipment. Golf Tournament
Health Services Auxiliary 14th Annual Fisher House Golf Tournament is scheduled for March 26 at the Gordon Lakes Golf Course. Shotgun start begins at 12:30 p.m. Mulligans will be available. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. Entry fee includes round of golf (four-person golf scramble select shot), cart, T-shirt and free 9-hole round of golf for future play. Early registration is $65 per player/$260 per team. Day of the tournament cost is $75 per player/$ 300 per team. Sign up by March 19; applications are online at www. tournevents.com/FHGT1. Golf Tournament
The Fort Gordon Sergeants Major Association is hosting a golf tournament April 2 at the Gordon Lakes Golf Course. It is a four-person scramble play. Mulligan’s will be available for purchase. Trophies will be awarded to the first, second, third and fourth place winners. Registration is from 11:15 a.m. to noon and shotgun start is 12:30 p.m. April 2.
