Fighters go head to head
Feb. 25, two days prior to the North American Boxing Organization Flyweight
Title bout at the Bell Auditorium between Augusta native, Rayonta “The Stingray”
Whitfield and Sergio, “The San Diego Sensation” Espinoza, Fort Gordon and TKO
Boxing Productions held a press conference for both fighters.
Soldiers were invited to attend and meet the fighters.
Whitfield won back the title Feb. 27. He trains locally with the Augusta Boxing Club.
Whitfield defeated Sergio Espinoza with a technical knockout in the ninth round in
front of a vocal crowd at Bell Auditorium.
