Quarter Mania
Gordon Lanes Bowling Center, located on 3rd Avenue, is sponsoring “Quarter Mania.” Every Monday from 5 to 11 p.m. bowl for 25 cents a game. There’s a minimum of three bowlers per lane and a maximum of five games per bowler. The $6 cover charge includes shoe rental.

Fitness for 2010
Gymdog Fitness is back at the Gordon Fitness Center, Building 29607, on Barnes Avenue. Twenty-five group fitness classes led by knowledgeable, talented, and fun instructors are being offered each week with all equipment being provided. Cost is $5 for single group fitness or cycling class or $35 for unlimited 30 day pass, special “Stay in Shape” rate. Class passes can be purchased in the Gymdog office at the Gordon Fitness Center or online at www. gymdogfitness.com.
Roller Derby Tryouts, first game
The Soul City Sirens of Augusta are recruiting new members throughout the month of February. No experience is necessary. Women interested in joining the team can e-mail soulcitysirenstraining@ gmail.com.
The Sirens’ 2010 season kicks off Feb. 21 when they take on Charlotte Roller Girls B Dazzlers of Charlotte, N.C., at the Red Wing Rollerway on 3065 Washington Road in Augusta. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 if purchased in advance, $12 at the door and children age 5 and under are admitted free.
