Sports Update

Gordon Lanes Bowling Center

Gordon Lanes Bowling Center, Building 33200, located at 3rd Avenue on post, will offer a mid week Rent-A-Lane Special from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays starting January 2010. It’s $7 to bowl per hour per lane. Shoe rental is not included.

Gordon Lakes Golf Courses

April 4 through 11 the golf prices at Gordon Lakes will be $35 Monday through Thursday for service members in the rank of E-1 to E-5. On Fridays, Saturdays or Sunday the price will be $40 and after 2 p.m. it’s $30.

For service members in the rank of E-6 and above the cost to golf will be $60 Monday through Thursday and $65 Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. After 2 p.m. it’s $50.

Civilians will be charged $90 Monday through Thursday and $100 Friday, Saturday or Sunday to play golf. After 2 p.m. it’s $75.

Columbia and Richmond County residents will be charged $50 Monday through Thursday, $55 for Friday, Saturday or Sunday to play golf. After 2 p.m. it’s $40.

Guests of Authorized patrons [military and Department of Defense employees] will pay $70 Monday through Thursdays, $75 Friday, Saturday or Sunday to play golf. After 2 p.m. it’s $55. Above prices include greens fees and cart fees. Greens fees and cart fees drop $10 after 4 p.m. Replays are $20 per person.

Youth Bowling program

The U.S. Army Child and Youth Services of Fort Gordon is hosting the Youth Bowling program for youngsters age 5 -18 years old at Gordon Lanes Bowling Center. Cost is $25. Registration runs from

Dec. 11- 30. Children must be registered with CYSS. This includes children of active duty service members, retirees, Department of Defense civilians, contractors and reservists.
