Marlene Thompson Soldiers performing in the Fort Gordon commanding general’s 2009 Holiday Safety show held Dec. 13 in Alexander Hall, demonstrate how easy terrorists could plant an explosion device in one’s luggage at an airport while Soldiers are waiting to head home for the holidays. It’s important not to leave your luggage unattended at the airport while waiting for your flight. The show also reminded Soldiers, in an entertaining way, the importance of not driving while intoxicated or drowsy and practice fire safety at home while on holiday leave.
