The local chapter ot the Alzheimer’s Association is hosting a fundraiser, known as the Augusta, Ga., “Memory Walk,” Nov. 7 at the Augusta Commons, 836 Reynolds St., in downtown Augusta. Checkin is at 8 a.m. and opening ceremony begins at 9 a.m. There’s no registration fee, however, donations are welcome at the walk. Participants are encouraged to register online at
