The Garden City Chapter of Federally Employed Women at Fort Gordon is meeting 11:30 a.m. Nov. 17 at the Gordon Club. Helen Blocker- Adams, Chief Executive Officer and talk show host, will be the speaker. Everyone is welcome to attend the program.

FEW is also hosting its annual FEW Christmas Auction at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 8 at the Gordon Club. Brig. Gen. Jennifer Napper, 7th Signal Command (Theater) commanding general, will be the guest auctioneer. The proceeds will go to Fort Gordon’s Christmas House, Safe Homes of Augusta, and the Fort Gordon Fisher House. Everyone is welcome to attend as well as to bring a new toy to donate for the children who temporarily stay with their mothers at Safe Homes of Augusta.Monetary donations are also welcome.

Anyone with usable items to donate to the auction for sale can be dropped off anytime between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Fort Gordon Religious Support Office, Building 29601, on Barnes Avenue.
