The inaugural Central Savannah River Area stomp down will be this weekend in Aiken.
Organizers are calling the event the “biggest and best” Greek step show in the Augusta area, and numerous Greek collegiate groups will be competing in the show.
The event is scheduled from 7 to 10 p.m. Nov. 6 at the University of South Carolina Aiken Convocation Center.
Tickets are $15 in advance and are available at Pyramid Music, 824 Broad St., Clean Cuts Barber Shop, 3230 Wrightsboro Rd., All Sewn Up, 3454 Peach Orchard Rd., and Miracles Barber Shop, Jefferson Davis Highway, Warrenville, S.C. Tickets are $20 at the door.

Visit the Morris Museum of Art for its monthly Artrageous! Family Sunday program at 2 p.m. Sunday at the museum, 1 Tenth St.
The program will feature the Piccadilly Puppets Co. telling Native American Indian stories. After the show, there will be an art project based on Native American Indian works.
The program is free.

The Columbia County Fair is currently underway through Nov. 14 at the Columbia County Fairgrounds on Columbia Road.
Rides, games and nightly entertainment are on tap for the annual event.
The fair will feature a BMX bike show, a master chainsaw carver and a petting zoo.
Reduced gate admission rates are available during the event and special entertainment is scheduled as well.
