Childbirth Education classes (Lamaze) for new and expectant parents are being offered at the W.G. Watson, M.D. Women’s Center at University Hospital, located at 1350 Walton Way in Augusta.The classes are

free. Class size is limited to 14 couples. There are four week classes as well as a weekend class. The next fourweek class series are Oct. 26 - Nov. 16, Nov. 3 - Dec. 1 and Oct. 28 - Nov. 18. The classes meet from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

The weekend class is scheduled from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 6 and 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 7.

A breastfeeding class is also being offered from 7 to 9 p.m.

Nov. 19 at Babies R Us, at 4225 Washington Road, in Augusta.
