In keeping with the season, there are a few spooky happenings over the weekend.
Learn about the haunted history of Aiken through the Aiken Ghost Tours at 7 p.m.Oct. 30 and Oct. 31.
The 70-minute walking tour explores the city’s myths, legends and folklore.

Also in Aiken this weekend is the Aiken Community Playhouse’s production of the thriller, Night Watch.
A woman sees a murder from her Manhattan apartment, but when the police arrive, they can’t find a body. When she sees a second dead body, the police don’t believe her.
The psychological drama will be at 8 p.m. Oct. 30 and 31 and at 3 p.m. Nov. 1 at the Washington Center for the Arts on Newberry Street.

Another play for the younger set is the Storyland Theatre production of Bilbo and the Magic Ring, a musical loosely based on The Hobbit.
Military Families receive free admission to the show which will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Imperial Theater on Broad Street.

Also this weekend is the 2nd Annual Augusta Half Marathon.
Packet pickup is from noon to 7 p.m. Oct. 31 at the Augusta Common. From 4 to 7 p.m., events will include the Trick or Treat Halloween Fest and the Medals for Miles Youth Fun Run. Also, there will be a costume parade and a magician.
The half-marathon will begin at 7 a.m. Nov. 1, at the Augusta Common.
