Oktoberfest on Fort Gordon
Photos by Bonnie Heater Fort Gordon held its annual Oktoberfest celebration on Barton Field Oct. 15-17. Despite cold and rainy weather, crowds came out to visit the many attractions including Terry Cavanagh and the Alpine Express Band, who performed during the event for the third year in a row. Brig. Not to be outdone by the professionals, Oktoberfest participants, including members of the Fort Gordon command staff, took to the stage to sing traditional German ballads. Capt.
