Air Force ladies upset Army, 13-8

(Left) The Air Force ladies took on the young women of Company E, 369th Signal Battalion 7 p.m. Sept. 28 in flag football at the soccer field near the Gordon Club. In the first half of the game Air Force’s Running Back Tiffany White, #69, rushed 25 yards for a touchdown, but the team failed to earn the extra two points.

Later in the game Air Force’s Quarterback, Becky Long, #2, throw a 5 yard pass to White for a touchdown. Air Force Center Danitra Horn #68, earned the 2- point conversion with a two yard pass.

In the second half Army’s Melody Stutzman, #32, threw the touchdown pass to Chelsea Schueller, #1, the team’s wide receiver. Schueller went on to earn the 2- point conversion.

According to Marcos Lathrop, Company E, 369th Signal Battalion’s coach his team showed a lot of improvement. “They have improved 100 percent from the first two games we played,” said Coach Lathrop.
