A concert honoring America’s Armed Forces will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic School, 856 Old Edgefield Rd., North Augusta.
The Salvation Army Band will be featured in the Celebration of God and Country concert at the school.
Active duty military will be admitted free with military ID.

Also on Oct. 3, the 21st annual St. Mary’s Chocolate Festival will be held in Aiken.
Chocolate is Good is the theme of this year’s event which will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the school on York Street in downtown Aiken.
There will be lots of chocolate goodies available and chocolate themed events such as a pie eating contest, a chocolate par 3, a chocolate raceway and the chocolate karaoke idol contest.
Also, there will be games and inflatable rides for the children.

The Morris Museum of Arts’ monthly Artrageous program will present storyteller and guitarist, Dr. Bill Karp, at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Karp will tell the tale of the Savannah Boo Hag, a mysterious woman who hides in the marshes of the low country.
After Karp’s tale, children will participate in an art project creating Boo Hag masks.

There will be a free concert at the Augusta Common on Broad Street beginning at 6 p.m. Oct. 2.
The Sassy Brass Band, Joe Pop and the Tams and the Tony Howard Show will present a fall concert celebration.
