Tour the Augusta Canal on a replica Petersburg Boat.Wellinformed, entertaining guides narrate the open-air trip. You'll see working 19th Century textile mills, the Confederate Powder Works site and two of Georgia's only remaining 18th Century houses. There's one-hour tours, moonlight music cruises, three-hour sunset cruises and private charter tours. All tours depart from the Canal Interpretive Center at Enterprise Mill at 1450 Greene Street in Augusta. Boats are uncovered, so dress for the weather. You can bring your own snacks and beverages. Advance reservations are strongly encouraged. All boat tour tickets include free admission to Augusta Canal Interpretive Center.
