As we continue to have clothing drives for our veterans and active duty who are job seeking, attending church, and looking for nice new clothes (no stains, clean, and fashionable) to wear to classes and outings - we ask you to remember those in your local community who are in need. It appears there are needs for our military and their Families all over. Please don't stop opening up your closets and your neighbor's closets as you have always done. Our homeless stand-down is scheduled for Oct. 23, at the Salvation Army on Greene Street.
