Alternate Commissary hours
      The Fort Gordon Commissary will close two hours early Aug. 30 in order to finish its renovation. A crew of over 60 will perform the work to dismantle, stack, band and recycle the old shelving. The floor will be thoroughly cleaned and all brand new shelves will be installed.

Fort Gordon begins post-wide recreation overhaul
      With 40 intramural basketball and 24 volleyball teams, William Wren has a problem. "We only have two gyms with basketball courts," said Wren, Recreation Division chief of Fort Gordon's Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation, who hopes this problem will be alleviated when Gym 6 on Barnes Avenue is renovated.
