Women's Equality Day
In celebration of Women's Equality Day, the Fort Gordon Equal Opportunity Office, along with the 116th Military Intelligence Group, and the Gordon Club will present a day of workshops to "Honor the Struggles of Visionary Women."
The event will be held
Aug. 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Gordon Club Main Ballroom. There will also be a Command Program on Aug. 26 at 1:30 p.m. in Alexander Hall featuring Dr. Lily McNair as the keynote speaker.
The EEO Special Emphasis Program Committee is sponsoring a Career Day Forum in honor of Women's Equality Day. The guest speaker is a Fort Gordon employee who moved up through the ranks via an internship program. If interested in exploring career development through an internship program, join the SEP committee and participate in a live career chat at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 27 in Studio B of Nelson Hall. This is a "Brown Bag" training session; so bring a lunch to the event. Seats are limited, so reserve a spot by email to
Sharon.l.weathers@us.army.mil, by Aug. 25.
