Drug and Alcohol Prevention Training

The annual Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Education Training for Fort Gordon Federal employees will be offered again from 9 to 11 a.m. July 28 and from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 11 in Alexander Hall. Non-supervisory employees as well as supervisors may attend either session. Employees who did not attend this training in April or May or have not completed it through another means and provided documentation to the Fort Gordon Army Substance Abuse Program Office are required to attend. Two hours of a substance abuse prevention training and education is mandatory for all Department of the Army civilian and Nonappropriated Fund employees in accordance with Army Regulation 600-85, paragraph 2-20g. This program is supported by the Army's commitment to provide a drug free workplace. Contract employees are not required to attend.
