This is the first time the award has been presented on post, according to Command Sgt. Maj. Lucille Crutcher, the 15th Regimental Signal Brigade command sergeant major. "The school was notified May 1, said Crutcher. They won the award for May.

Fisher Hall, which falls under the Ordnance Electronic Maintenance Training Division, was named the 15th Signal Brigade's School House of the Month for June.

Mark Horoho, the 15th Regimental Signal Brigade commander, and Crutcher selected the best out of four battalions.

"The award was given for cleanliness of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, timely and complete submission of work orders, plus overall appearance of the interior and exterior of the building which includes the lawn," said Crutcher.

The program was initiated May 1 with the purpose of building esprit de corps, encouraging friendly competition between the battalions and helping to improve the environment in which our Soldiers live and go to school, according to the 15th Regimental Signal Brigade command sergeant major.

This award means a lot to us, said Sgt. Maj. Clarence Brooks, the Ordnance Electronic Maintenance Training Department sergeant major. "It recognizes the pride and ownership of the organization and the care we take of Army facilities.

"This means the 73rd Ordnance Electronic Maintenance Training Department has set the standard for the brigade for May as well as June, added Brooks. "Ordnance Warriors are the best of the best!"
