Fort Gordon will host the annual Independence Day Celebration and fireworks display 5 to 11 p.m., July 2 on Barton Field.

The celebration will feature the 434th U.S. Army Band which will be providing entertainment throughout the evening. Additionally the 434th U.S. Army Band will conduct a marching band "Tattoo Ceremony," from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

There will also be activities for the children and a fireworks display. The Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation is the lead agency for this event.
