      Walk-a-thon Join the installation command sergeant major for a Year of the NCO Walk-athon, 4:30 p.m. March 24 and 26 around Barton Field. The assembly point is at Barton Field's new amphitheater and will cover a 2 mile walk around Barton Field. March is Year of the NCO physical fitness month.

Softball produces memories
      Vince Krajcir has fond memories of his time in the Navy especially playing USSSA softball in the 1980s when the league was in its heyday. "In the 1980s, it was a powerful softball program," said Krajcir, USSSA Southeast Military Program Coordinator and Community Support Coordinator for Navy Information Operations Command Georgia.
