Blaze challenges Post fire department

2009-03-13 / Front Page

When firefighters rolled up on the burning warehouse in Building 2222 on March 2 it was clear that this was one of those events where it is not clear how things will turn out. Fire events can be as fickle as the gusting of the wind. Post firefighters responded to this blaze at about 4:45 a.m. with all of the resources at its disposal. As sun set the battle was still raging and additional assistance was called in from the Grovetown Fire Department to help douse the fully engulfed wooden building. It was 2:30 p.m. on March 3 before mopup crews left
