Petty Officer 2nd Class Jason McMichael Petty Officer 2nd Class Jason McMichael was born in Phoenix, Ariz. and en- listed in the Navy on July 17, 2006. After graduating from Naval Recruit Training Command, he was subsequently assigned to the Defense Language Institute - Foreign Language Center, where he studied Arabic. He has since graduated from the institute, obtaining an Associate of Arts degree in Arabic, and is currently stationed at Naval Information Operations Command at Fort Gordon.
