Petty Officer 1st Class Rebecca Patterson Petty Officer 2nd Class Rebecca Patterson was born at Great Lakes Naval Hospital. She is a third generation Sailor. After re- turning to the place of her birth for boot camp in August. 2005, she went to the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, Calif. to attend "A" School.

In December 2006, Patterson arrived at her first permanent duty station, Naval Information Operations Command, Ga. Since arriving, she has been very involved with various command organizations, including the Navy Day Ball committee and Junior Sailors Association. Patterson was awarded the military performer of the quarter for second quarter 2008.
