Petty Officer 1st Class Anna Nichols Petty Officer 1st Class Anna Nichols Petty Officer 2nd Class Anna Nichols is a native of Caledonia, Minn. She entered the Navy on July 17, 2002. After completing boot camp, she attended Cryptologic Technician Collection "A" school at the Center for Information Dominance, Corry Station Pensacola, Fla. Her first permanent duty station was at Naval Security Group Activity, Fort Gordon from September 2004 until November 2006. Nichols then transferred to Navy Information Operations Command as a fleet operations surface cryptologic direct support element basic operator. During her tour, she deployed on board USS Kearsarge from July 2007- January 2008.

Petty Officer Nichols' personal awards include a Joint Service Achievement Medal and a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. She is married to Joseph Nichols.

They have one child, Isaac and are currently residing in Grovetown, Ga.
