There was a tribute to the Dance Theatre of Harlem, the nation's first African American ballet company as well as a hiphop number.
The program ended with a spoken word performance about freedom.
"They really did an outstanding job. The entire production was put on by students," said Lt. Col. Tim Presby, 369th Signal Battalion commander.
