The Old Frontier, a Christian campground and Cowboy Church located in Thomson, Ga., is hosting a covered dish event to honor veterans from 3 to 6 p.m. Nov. 15. They will be giving certificates of appreciation to all veterans in attendance. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to bring a covered dish. There will be games for the children and a corn maze for those willing to tackle it. Sing and song writer Dave Pendergraft will perform as well as the church's youth band. There's no admission charge.
