The Marines are hosting the Wildwood Park Run/Walk 8 a.m. Nov. 8 at Wildwood Park in Appling, Ga. Early registration fee is $10; the day of the race it's $15. There is a $2 fee to enter Wildwood Park. All proceeds go to the Augusta Toys for Tots program. Applications can be picked up any time up to 3 p.m. Nov. 7 at the Tribute to the Fallen site on Barton Field on post. Prizes will be given to the top three overall winners for both male and female participants. Everyone will receive a T-shirt and refreshments will be served at the finish line. Latrines will be available.
