The Augusta Area Newcomers Club is hosting a business meeting and luncheon from 9:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Oct. 16. The club is an organization for residents new to the Augusta area in the last five years. The purpose of the club is to offer friendship and to help new residents learn about the community.
