      Balfour Beatty Communities residents now have recycling options! The new Recycle Drop-Off Point is located on Wainwright Circle; just off of Kilbourne behind Freedom Park. Collection containers are in place. You can currently drop off cardboard and paper. In the near future, the site will accept plastic, glass and aluminum as well.

      The annual Army Emergency Relief campaign will run through May 15. During the campaign this year, AER officials want to promote awareness to Soldiers and their families that donations generate interest-free loans to fellow Soldiers and families in times of need.

      Signal Band concert The U.S. Army Signal Corps Band is performing a concert, “Stage, Screen and Sousa,” at 7 p.m. March 19 at the New Hope Worship Center, 715 S. Old Belair Road in Grovetown. March is American Red Cross Month
      Each year, the president of the United States proclaims March “Red Cross Month.” Since Clara Barton created the American Red Cross in 1881, it was largely dependent for publicity and support of people who learned of catastrophic events and the Red Cross response to them. After the news of an event, the American Red Cross rushed to the scene with help.

Signal 150th anniversary print
      Pre-orders are being taken for a commemorative print of a pivotal fight during the Civil War. As Brig. Gen. William T. Sherman marched toward Savannah, Ga. in December of 1864, the Signal Corps was there.
