You are commanded to appear and answer before the 87th Judicial district Court in the Limestone County Courthouse in Groesbeck, Limestone County, Texas, on or before 10:00 A.M. on the first Monday after the expiration of forty-two (42) days from the date of issuance hereof, being at or before 10:00 A.M. on Monday the21st day of June, 2010, then and there to answer the Petition of O’Brien Resources, LLC, a Texas Limited Liability Company, in Cause No. 29,352-B, styled O’Brien Resources, LLC vs. J.D. Hightower, and/or his unknown heirs; Warren Hightower, and/or his unknown heirs; Walter Adams, and/or his unknown heirs; Mary Adams Gildon, and/or her unknown heirs; Birdie Mae Adams Hetherington, and/or her unknown heirs; Bobbie Adams Carrell, and/or her unknown heirs; and Condell Adams, and/or his unknown heirs, if any of said persons is deceased, Defendants in the cause herein described. The Petition, filed on the 22nd day of April, 2010, discloses that the nature of said suit is as follows: This suit is brought to have a receiver appointed under the provisions of Section 62.091 of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code for undivided mineral interests owned by the Defendants in the following described lands in Limestone County, Texas, to-wit: Tract 1: 16.6667 acres, more or less, a part of the F.K. Clanton Survey, A-122, Limestone County, Texas, and being the same land conveyed as First Tract in that certain Warranty Deed dated October 23, 1961, from Clay Hightower and wife, Leavie Hightower to R.B. Tillmon and wife, Gladys Tillmon, and recorded in Book 484, Page 275 of the Deed Records of Limestone County, Texas. Tract 2: 50.00 acres, ore or less, a part of the N. Norwood Survey, A-422, Limestone County, Texas, and being the same land conveyed as Second Tract in that certain Warranty Deed dated October 23, 1961, from Clay Hightower and wife, Leavie Hightower to R.B. Tillmon and wife, Gladys Tillmon and recorded in Book 484, Page 275, of the Deed Records of Limestone County, Texas. Tract 3: 25.00 acres, more or less, a part of the P. Johnson Survey, A-295, Limestone County, Texas, and being the same land conveyed as Third Tract in that certain Warranty Deed dated October 23, 1961, from Clay Hightower and wife, Leavie Hightower to R.B. Tillmon and wife, Gladys Tillmon and recorded in Book 484, Page 275, of the Deed records of Limestone County, Texas. Tract 4: 4.00 acres, more or less, a part of the P. Johnson Survey, A-295, Limestone County, Texas, and being the same land conveyed as Fourth Tract in that certain Warranty Deed dated October 23, 1961, from Clay Hightower and wife, Leavie Hightower to R.B. Tillmon and wife, Gladys Tillmon, and recorded in Book 484, Page 257 of the Deed Records of Limestone County, Texas. THE ABOVE FOUR (4) TRACTS COMPRISING 95.667 ACRES IN THE AGGREGATE, MORE OR LESS, and to execute Oil, Gas and Mineral Leases thereof to the Plaintiff, and take such action deemed necessary under the provisions of said statute. If this citation is not served within ninety (90) days after date of its issuance, it shall be returned unserved. Sealed bids will be received at the Business Office of the Groesbeck Independent School District, 1202 North Ellis, P.O. Box 559, Groesbeck, Texas, May 25, 2010, until 2:00 p.m. for the following:

Bids received after this time, whether delivered in person or mailed, will not be accepted. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend.

Bid forms and specifications may be obtained from the Groesbeck Independent School District Business Office or by calling (254)729-4106 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Groesbeck Independent School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive formalities of bid. In case of ambiguity or lack of clarity and state of compliance in the bid, Groesbeck Independent School District reserves the right to consider the most advantageous interpretation thereof or to reject the bid. 19-2tc

ORDINANCE NO. 10-O-14

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GROESBECK, LIMESTONE COUNTY, TEXAS AND EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LINE OF SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE SAID HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PROPERTY WITHIN SAID CITY LIMITS, AND GRANTING TO THE OWNERS OF SAID PROPERTY AND THE INHABITANTS THEREOF ALL THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID OWNERS AND INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS, ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS AND REGULATIONS OF SAID CITY

WHEREAS, said territory does not exceed one-half mile in width and said territory is adjacent to the current corporation limits of the City of Groesbeck, Limestone County, Texas; and

WHEREAS, two public hearings were held by the City Council of the City of Groesbeck and comments were solicited from those present;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GROESBECK, TEXAS:

The property described in Exhibits “A” and “B” attached is hereby annexed to the City of Groesbeck, Limestone County, Texas and that the boundary limits of the City of Groesbeck be and the same are hereby extended to include the above described territory within the City Limits of the City of Groesbeck, and the same shall hereinafter be included within the territorial limits of the City, and the owners and inhabitants thereof shall therefore be entitled to all rights and privileges of other citizens, owners and inhabitants of the City of Groesbeck and they shall be bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations of said City.

PASSED AND APPROVED by an affirmative vote of a quorum of members of the City of Groesbeck City Council, this the 11th day of May, 2010.
